Assistant to Tausha Carlson 512.371.7311

Paloma’s clear penchant for business, community, and service was a natural fit for Marathon Real Estate where she serves as an administrative assistant to Tausha Carlson.

Touring through the University of Texas at Austin, Paloma studied Nursing and Business ending up in the School of Liberal Arts. This demonstrated interest and abilities in science, business, and writing served her well during a 15-year stint in research and high-tech environments, as well as 5+ years in marketing and customer service.

Nicely in synch with Marathon Real Estate's on-going commitment to community service, Paloma brings with her the professional experience of having worked for two outstanding Austin non-profits, the Austin Community Foundation and the Austin Symphony Orchestra Society, as well as volunteer experience as a former president of the South Creeks Neighborhood Association, former president of the Alliance Française d’Austin, and myriad other volunteer efforts such as the KLRU fund drive, Operation Blue Santa, and the Capital Area Food Bank.

Paloma enjoys wine, entertaining, reading, yoga and fitness, travel, caring for her family, and hiking with her dogs and currently maintains memberships in the International Sommelier Guild and the Alliance Française d’Austin.

A believer that all things are possible with commitment and the courage to dream, Paloma includes as part of her inner compass a favorite quote by Arthur C. Clarke: The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
