With Linda’s Australian upbringing, she brings yet another continent to the magical mix of Luisa Mauro’s international savoir faire.
Of French heritage, Linda attributes her droll sense of humor and personal style to her Gaelic forefathers. Born in Ft. Stockton, TX, the family followed her geophysicist father to Perth, in Western Australia, where Linda directly connects her Australian upbringing to her deep appreciation and respect for animals with fond memories of stopping to feed the kangaroos along the way to school. A resident of Texas during her adult years, Linda has resided primarily in Houston and Austin.
While a student at the University of Houston and afterward, Linda pursued a number of sports including scuba diving, parasailing, wind surfing, skydiving, snow skiing and water skiing. Since those earlier days as Adventure Girl, Linda has raised two children: a son currently in the junior management program of a local international corporation and a daughter presently attending NYU in New York City.
Starting in Real Estate with luxury home builder, Taylor Woodrow Homes, Linda handled all domestic and international new home inquiries for the state of Texas. In working with these individuals Linda guided them through the process of identifying what communities were the best fit for their lifestyles and new-home goals. Not stopping at providing floor plans and community statistics, Linda took care of her clients coming into Austin by making their hotel arrangements, restaurant reservations, and picking them up at the airport – in short, ensuring that her clients received the ultimate in service.
In her free time Linda spends time with her family here in Texas as well as keeps company with her Chihuahua, Gabbie, her African Grey Parrot, Rocky, and her Myers Parrot, Ike, and looks forward to renewing her life as Adventure Girl as her children become more and more independent.
